Application of Jute Canvas

Jute canvas is widely used for camping beds, horse rugs, tarpaulins, dog beds and bag manufacture. It is a plain weave fabric of fine quality, which is relatively inexpensive compared to canvas made from other fibres.

Jute Canvas is the highest quality jute product, tightly woven with the finest grades of fibre and very affordable when compared to canvas created from other fibres. In India, jute canvas is commonly utilised for weather protection. In mines, canvas and scrim lamination with paper polythene is utilised.

The canvas, like the tarpaulin, is an extremely heavy woven textile. Many additional types of textiles, which are significantly heavier than sacking cloths, are woven using jute yarn in various weave-geometry weights.
